REQUIREMENTS FOR RENEWAL AND UPGRADING OF DRIVER’S LICENCE
The existing legislative instruments namely the Road Traffic (Amendments) Regulations, LI 1663 of 1999 makes it Mandatory for renewal of the new Driver’s License every two (2) Years from the date of issue.
There is information inside your Driver’s License indicating the date for its renewal.
You are further required to pass a vision test, which must be certified by ophthalmologist in accordance with standards specified in the Legislative Instrument before every renewal of your Driver’s License.
Thereafter you personally renew the Driver’s License at any of the DVLA Offices.
Remember your Driver’s License expires six years after the date of issue
